The Mulino a Vento restaurant is a well known locality and has been appreciated since the 1940’s for its cooking inspired by the more authentic Tuscany traditions. It gets its name from the town’s Windmill recently restored and where the farm still grinds its biological wheat for the farm’s production of pasta, flat bread and cakes.
The restaurant is immersed in the green countryside in perfect harmony with the environment and offers a large and cool terrace which looks out over an enchanting landscape of the hills surrounding Florence. The choice of furnishings, soft and traditional, unite with the interior decorations and contrast with the false wooden ceilings and floors made from hundred year old wooden barrels, reflecting the sensibility towards true traditions.
Fresh products linked to the territory and seasonal changes are used in the kitchen. To this fierce interpretation of Tuscany cooking some real jewels of Italian cuisine have been added. There is a warm and relaxing environment which is enhanced by a professional and friendly personnel who accompany you to your table making it all really special.
